Falco Systems (est. 2006 in Amsterdam) is a major manufacturer of high-performance high voltage amplifiers / piezo drivers for laboratories all over the world. At Falco Systems, we develop and build the best high voltage amplifiers possible. Both the highest speed and the lowest noise high voltage amplifiers in the industry are Falco Systems products.
The Falco Systems R&D and office are located in a historic industrial building in The Netherlands. Two ISO9001 certified production facilities handle a major part of the manufacturing activities: Azteco (printed circuit boards) and Meester Techniek (sheet and metal working).
Dr. ir. W. Merlijn van Spengen, founding director of Falco Systems, is an experienced analog electronics design expert. He has worked at IMEC (Leuven), Leiden University and Delft University of Technology, in the fields of electronics, physics and mechanical engineering, specializing in instrumentation, MEMS reliability engineering and scanning probe microscopy.
With his team at Falco Systems, Merlijn strives to provide the best high voltage amplifiers possible. He is also part-time associate professor in Delft, where he heads the MEMS reliability team supervising PhD students in the Precision and Microsystems Engineering department. In addition, he teaches the master course 'Electronics and Measurement'.
Every Falco Systems high voltage amplifier receives a quality control inspection and test, to ensure that all products delivered meet our stringent quality standards. The Falco Systems laboratory amplifiers are CE and FCC compliant. They have been independently tested at Dare to thoroughly assess their safety and electromagnetic compatibitity.
The customers of Falco Systems are company R&D departments, research institutes and universities worldwide. The amplifiers are used in precision engineering, electronics, physics, optics, chemistry, (aero-)space engineering, automotive, and metrology and control. In addition, Falco Systems supplies its amplifiers as sub-modules to other OEMs.
Customers include e.g. Agilent, Analog Devices, ASML, Bruker, CERN, EPFL, ESRF, ICFO, IMEC, KEMA, NASA, NIKHEF, NovaMEMS, Philips, Siemens and VTT, universities such as Aarhus, Barcelona, Cambridge, Chalmers, Chemnitz, Cork, Dublin, ETH Zurich, Firenze, Koc, Konstanz, Madrid, Oxford, VU Brussels, VU Amsterdam, Uppsala and Queensland, and many CNRS, CNST, Fraunhofer and TNO institutes.
Falco Systems has a network of distributors in China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and the USA.
